When Conan O’Brien vacates his space to take over for the “retiring” Jay Leno, former SNL star Jimmy Fallon will step into the high haired redhead’s place. This should be interesting to say the least.
I fear that Conan will have to reign in his comedy to suit the masses instead of being able to have the freedom to do some of the things his 12:37am time slot allows him. With Jimmy he is SO hyper in interviews and skits that he can barely sit still or keep a straight face. Not sure how well that translates to sitting in a chair and interviewing others. Regardless, I’ll give it a watch and hope for the best for both of them.

Get ready for each show to have two musical guests; the scheduled act…and Jimmy Fallon, as this is the only comedy he knows how to produce. I use the term comedy loosely. When you’re the laughing stock of a post-Will Ferrell SNL era where the laughing stock market is more than booming, you definitely don’t deserve to step into Conan’s shoes. Jimmy Fallon will last 3-6 months before NBC retard-executive-extraordinaire Ben Silverman realizes what sort of horrible coke induced mistake he’s made. That is, of course, if he has actually avoided being canned himself. Thanks for this post by the way, it has inspired a rant that I will do on my own blog about Jimmy Fallon.
